Simpson rallies on foggy Sunday to win U.S. Open at Olympic Club by one shot Jun 17th 2012, 23:49 Cameron Morfit Webb Simpson trailed by six shots early in the final round, but he made a clutch up-and-down on the 18th hole and won the U.S. Open by one shot over Graeme McDowell and Michael Thompson. It was Simpson's first career major title.
